From the North:
From I-93 take the Storrow Drive exit. Take the exit for Arlington St and Boston Common. After you leave the exit you can turn left and proceed up Arlington St to Newbury, or you can turn right and travel down Beacon, and take one of the cross streets (Clarendon, Exeter, or Gloucester) up to Newbury. All the cross streets are one way, and Berkeley, Dartmouth, Fairfield and Hereford are one way from Boylston to Beacon so you cannot travel up these streets to Newbury.
Note that Newbury is one way running from Arlington to Massachusetts Ave. Even though Massachusetts Ave is a two way street you cannot turn up Newbury from Massachusetts Ave.
From the South:

From the West:
From the Massachusetts Turnpike, take the Copley Square exit. From the exit take the first left (Dartmouth St) and proceed across Boylston Street to Newbury Street
From Downtown:
Newbury Street is easily accessible from the T. Catch the Green Line to Arlington Street (which puts you at the Boston Public Garden end of Newbury Street), Copley Square (puts you at Boylston Street,walk down either Clarendon or Exeter Street one block to the middle of Newbury Street) or to the Convention Center stop which places you at the Massachusetts Ave end of Newbury Street.
